Why Pawtential Began

Pawtential was inspired by my dog, Malaya, whose journey through CCL injury and rehabilitation showed me the profound impact mobility, comfort, and compassionate care can have on an animal’s quality of life. Her experience sparked my passion for animal rehabilitation and continues to inspire the care I provide to every patient today. Pawtential was created in loving memory of her and the impact she continues to have on this work every day.

Meet The Therapist / Owner

Taylor Kosiski, OT, CCRT

Hi, I’m Taylor Kosiski, the heart and hands behind Pawtential. I’m an occupational therapist and licensed animal therapist with advanced training in animal rehabilitation. I’m proud to be the first occupational therapist to receive a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) credential through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI).

I understand how stressful injuries, mobility changes, and aging can be—for both pets and their families. That’s why I bring compassionate, personalized care directly to your home, allowing pets to feel comfortable in a familiar, low-stress environment.

At Pawtential, every treatment plan is individualized to support your pet’s specific needs and goals. From helping senior pets stay comfortable longer, to supporting recovery after injury or surgery, I focus on building confidence in both pets and pet parents so you feel empowered throughout the healing process.

When I’m not working, I love going on walks, crocheting, playing sand volleyball, and spending time with my husband, Kale.

I believe that with the right support, education, and care, pets can continue to heal, move, and thrive. Thank you for trusting Pawtential with your pet’s care—I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companion.

1

Pain & Comfort First

Improving movement starts with improving comfort. Sessions incorporate techniques to reduce pain, improve joint mobility, and support tissue health—creating a strong foundation for progress.

2

Function & Daily Life

Rehabilitation is built around what matters most—helping your dog move more easily through daily activities like getting up, navigating stairs, and returning to favorite routines.

3

Environment & Context Matter

Because sessions take place in your home, we can address real-world challenges like flooring, layout, and daily routines to improve safety, confidence, and independence.

4

Quality of Movement

Movement is more than strength. Sessions focus on coordination, control, and smooth transitions so your dog can move more comfortably and efficiently.

5

Practical & Personalized Care

Every plan is tailored to your dog, your home, and your routine—ensuring exercises are realistic, effective, and easy to carry over into daily life.

6

Supporting the Human–Animal Team

You play a key role in your dog’s progress. Clear guidance and simple home strategies help you feel confident supporting your dog between sessions.
